| ECxI Rack External Control "x" Interface |
The ECxI rack unit manages the working of the ECBI and ECRI modules.
The rack unit can be equipped with a maximum of 3 ECBI, ECRI or ECBI / ECRI modules.
Each ECxI rack unit consists of a motherboard equipped with a double LAN interface and provided with a double coding allowing the ASTRO Control Unit to identify the ECBI and ECRI modules connected to it.
The unit is equipped with the following connections:
• a connector for the 24 Vdc input voltage, coming from the PSDV module;
• an Ethernet port (“LAN A”) for the connection to the ASTRO Control Unit;
• an Ethernet port (“LAN B”) for the loop-through connection to the other units;
• 2 opto-isolated inputs (voltage contacts) and 4 output relays.
The following optical signalling are available on the front panel:
• 4 LEDs for displaying the output relays status
(green LED=relay active);
• 2 LEDs for displaying the inputs status
(blue LED=input active);
• 1 LED for displaying the presence of 24 Vdc power supply.
The ECxI rack unit is subordinated to the ASTRO Control Unit and can be mounted both into the main cabinet and into the peripheral ones.
