| ECRI External Control Relay Interface EN54-16 |
The ECRI (External Control Relay Interface) module manages output relay contacts (volt free contacts) and opto-isolated inputs. Each ECRI module is able to manage:
• 8 output contacts, “normally open” and “normally closed” mode
• 8 inputs coming from closed contacts or voltages included from 5 to 60 Vdc. The working mode of each input is selected by jumpers based on the ECRI module; the positioning of each jumper determines 2 possible operating modes:
• “VC”: the input is controlled by a DC voltage;
• “CC”: the input is controlled by the closing of a free voltage contact. The ECRI module is powered by the ECxI rack unit by means of 24 Vdc voltage, coming from the PSDV module.
On the front panel of the module there are:
• 8 LEDs for displaying the inputs activation
(blue LED=input active);
• 8 LEDs for displaying the relays activation
(green LED=relay active).
